The Town of Essex rents ice pads, pools, sports fields, pavilions and picnic areas. We also offer a wide range of community and meeting rooms to suit a variety of occasions. From small meetings to large gatherings, we can accommodate your social and business needs.

When you rent any facility or space, you will need liability insurance. This insurance covers any accidents or damage that might happen while you're using our property. Insurance costs are typically minimal, but they depend on several factors, including what’s happening during and the number of attendees at your rental.
There are two options for obtaining your insurance
We understand that every event is unique, so we've made it convenient for you to get the insurance you need. Getting insurance is quick and easy with our Facility User Liability Insurance Program. Use the online portal to create an account and get a quote or purchase insurance within minutes.

The Corporation of the Town of Essex offers overnight parking in the parking lot of the Essex Centre Sports Complex located at 60 Fairview Avenue W. Essex, Ontario, the Harrow and Colchester South Community Centre, located at 243 McAffee Street in Harrow, Ontario and at the Colchester Harbour located at 100 Jackson Avenue, Harrow, Ontario.
