Festivals and Events
The Town of Essex is home to many festivals and special events. At all times of the year there's always so much to do!
Spring typically begins with the Maple Syrup Festival at John R. Park Homestead in March and ends with the Colchester Walleye Fishing Derby and the McGregor Music Festival.
Summer is chock full of events, starting with the Essex Fun Fest, followed by the Essex County Steam and Gas Engine Show.
For over 160 years, the Harrow Fair, one of the oldest agricultural fairs in Ontario, has closed out the summer. This year the Fair is celebrating its 164th anniversary!
Don't miss the McGregor Mug Run and International Beer Fest or the Harvest and Horses Festival this fall, the Essex Train Show, and Santa's Village!
