The Town of Essex offers a number of map resources for your convenience, including an interactive mapping site and a series of community maps.
Online Mapping
We offer public access to G.I.S. data through our Interactive Mapping Service.
Our interactive mapping service has recently been updated to be more user friendly.
The Town uses G.I.S. (Geographical Information System) technology to capture, store, analyze and display geographically referenced information about the municipality.
The Interactive Mapping Service allows users to navigate the municipality by location and add map layers that display a variety of features including landmarks, public services, water hydrants, turbines and cemeteries.
