Ribbon Cutting/Ground Breaking

The Ribbon Cutting Ceremony typically includes the business owners/developers, staff, the Mayor, and additional members of Council and Administration. The Mayor will provide brief remarks followed by a photo opportunity. The business owner or manager will also have the opportunity to say a few words to those gathered.

Event photos and business details will be shared on the Town of Essex social media channels following the event.

*A Ribbon Cutting/Groundbreaking ceremony is not required for businesses in the Town of Essex and are by request only.

Terms:

• A request for a Ribbon Cutting/Groundbreaking ceremony should be at least a minimum of 2 weeks in advance to the proposed Ribbon Cutting date.
• Requested dates are on a first come-first serve basis. Dates will not be held until this form is completed in full.
