Business Milestone Recognition Program

The Town of Essex is committed to fostering a strong, diverse, and resilient business community. Local businesses form the backbone of our local economy, playing a vital role in supporting economic growth, creating employment opportunities, and enhancing the quality of life for residents. The Business Milestone Recognition Program was established to celebrate and formally acknowledge commercial and industrial businesses that have demonstrated longevity, dedication, and ongoing commitment to the Town of Essex.

Eligible Anniversary Milestones

Businesses may be recognized at the following anniversary milestones:

• 5 years
• 10 years
• 20 years
• 30 years
• 40 years
• 50 years
• 65+ years

*Please note that submissions must correspond to one of the milestone years listed above and must occur in the current calendar year.

Program Eligibility

To be eligible for recognition, businesses must:

• Be located within the Town of Essex and currently operating.
• Be in good standing with the Town of Essex.

Recognition

Approved businesses will receive an official Town of Essex certificate, commemorating their business anniversary and contribution to the local community.
