Splash Pads

Keep cool on hot summer days at one of Essex’s outdoor splash pads.

The season for splash pads varies depending on the weather. The town’s splash pads are generally available from May to Early October.

Sprayers squirt from the ground, from overhead devices and from side posts. A dump bucket fills up and empties on those standing below. Use the stationed squirt guns to spray your friends and family. These splash pads use recycled water that goes through a chlorinated filtration system and a UV antibacterial light to kill bacteria. It’s safe and environmentally friendly!

Sunscreen Stations

Stay sun smart when splashing around! All three of the Town's splash pads feature free sunscreen stations.

Locations/Hours

The splash pads will be open daily from 9:00am to 9:00pm from Victoria Day weekend until early October (weather permitting).
