The Essex Recreation Complex offers a wide range of aquatic and lifesaving programs, as well as free swims and special parties. The facility includes a four-lane 25-metre lap pool and Tarzan rope, a leisure pool and waterslide, and a training pool with stretch bars.

Male and female change rooms are available, as well as a private handi-accessible change room.
