Recreation

The Town of Essex is known for sports. We're home to the Essex 73's, the most successful Junior C hockey team in Ontario, and the original home of the championship-winning Essex Ravens Football Club. Our outdoor fields and sports facilities support a very active community. We're also the first municipality in in the region to be HIGH FIVE® accredited.
