With four urban communities - Essex Centre, Harrow, Colchester and McGregor - Essex offers many business development opportunities in a friendly, small town environment. Two active business associations support local entrepreneurs and help to encourage business development.

Strategically located at the geographic hub of Essex County, Essex Centre plays host to the Essex Community Futures Development Corporation and a satellite office for the Windsor-Essex Small Business Centre. Together, these organizations encourage economic development and the creation of jobs in our community.
