Parade Permits

Groups wishing to hold a parade or procession in the Town of Essex must obtain prior approval by application and provide a description of the proposed route.

Parade or procession application

A completed application form and map showing the proposed route should be submitted at least two months prior to the parade or procession.

Essex Fun Fest parade application

The Essex Fun Fest Parade is a judged competition, with awards in both commercial and non-commercial categories. The theme of this annual parade is selected by the Fun Fest Committee several months in advance of the event. There is no cost to participate in the parade and all entries are accepted.

Essex BIA Santa Clause Parade
