Certification of Documents

The Clerk’s Office at the Town of Essex may be able to certify documents as certified true copies. The fee for this service is $32.45 for residents and $64.89 for non-residents.

Contact the Clerk’s Office between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday to arrange a mutually convenient date and time.

You must bring your original document with you. A copy of the original document will be certified as a true copy of the original.
