Did you know that Community Services offers an extensive lineup of recreational programming for all ages? Our programs are offered in locations throughout the community and there are exciting options to meet every interest, including dance lessons, indoor sport programs, art and music programs, cooking classes, fitness courses, training for babysitters, and so much more!

Clubhouse Day Camp

For over ten years, Clubhouse Day Camp has been an exciting destination for children and youth from 4 to 12 whenever school is out of session. Our highly qualified camp leaders always ensure that each camp day is filled with activities that emphasize challenge, creativity, imagination, cooperation and, of course, fun! On P.A. Days, March Break and throughout the entire summer, camp is open and ready to provide a memorable and safe experience for your children, all at a great price.

Registration for Summer 2024 Day Camp will begin on May 1, 2024.

Our leaders

A child's safety is the primary concern of every parent and our staff members are fully committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of every child who participates in our programs. The Essex Community Services team consists of 30 to 60 part-time staff year round.

All staff members are certified in the following four awards:

• Defibrillator Certification
• Standard First Aid & Level "C" CPR
• WHMIS Training
• HIGH FIVE® PHCD

All aquatics staff members hold the following additional certifications:

• National Lifeguard Service
• Lifesaving Society Instructor & Swim Instructor
