Water Billing Payment Information

Pre-Authorized Payment and Paperless Billing

In order to continue pre-authorized payments for water and wastewater services, residents must provide payment information to the Town of Essex. Existing pre-authorized payment plans with E.L.K. Energy will not be transferred to the Town of Essex.

In addition, residents who are interested in signing up for paperless billing must complete the online application form by January 5, 2024 to meet the timeline for the first billing cycle.

Water and Wastewater Bill Payment

Customers have now received their final Water/Wastewater bill from E.L.K. Energy Inc. Please continue to pay E.L.K. Energy until the billing transition takes effect and you receive your upcoming water/wastewater bill from the Town of Essex.

Please note: If you receive your electricity from E.L.K. Energy, you will continue to receive an E.L.K. bill for your electricity charges.
