Town of Essex Seeking Nominations for Outstanding Front Yard & Balcony Gardens

The Town of Essex is currently accepting nominations for the annual Front Yard and Balcony Garden Contest.

All eligible nominations will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

• Curb appeal;
• Tidiness and maintenance;
• Variation and balance;
• Stimulation of senses;
• Originality.

The annual contest, which is part of the Town’s Communities in Bloom efforts, was postponed in 2020.

Submissions will be accepted until July 31 with evaluations to be completed in mid-August.
