Town of Essex Hiring Summer Students

The Town of Essex is putting the call out to local youth looking for summer jobs.

Every year, the Town employs local youth in a wide range of positions. Whether they’re assisting the Town’s planning team, maintaining parks and greenspaces, or helping increase local tourism, there’s a position for all interests and educational backgrounds.

“The Summer Youth Employment Program offers a great opportunity for youth to learn new skills and gain working experience in a variety of disciplines.” said Sherry Bondy, Mayor. “The program allows young people to explore potential career paths in a positive and supportive environment.”

Individuals can view the job descriptions and apply online through the newly revamped recruitment website at www.essex.ca/jobs

Applications will be accepted until February 10, 2023 at 4:30 p.m.

Resumes and applications can also be delivered in-person to drop boxes at Essex Town Hall (33 Talbot Street South, Essex Centre) or the Harrow and Colchester South Recreation Centre (243 McAffee Street, Harrow).
