Town of Essex Facilities Re-Open to the Public

As of Monday, January 31, 2022 the Town of Essex facilities have re-opened to the public following guidance from the Province of Ontario to ease public health restrictions. Recreational programing, as well as ice rink and facility rentals, are now open with limited capacity. Recreational program information and registration can be found online at essexconnect.ca or by calling 519-776-7336. 

All program participants and visitors who are 12 years of age or older will be required to follow the COVID-19 screening procedure  by completing the online form and providing proof of vaccination (QR codes) upon entering the recreational facility. Vaccination certificates can be accessed online via the Province of Ontario portal. 

Town Hall and the Gesto office location are open to essential visitors. Citizens and stakeholders who require in-person meetings are encouraged to contact the Town at 519-776-7336 to make arrangements prior to visiting a facility. All visitors are required to comply with COVID-19 protocols by wearing a mask and completing the COVID-19 Screening.
