June is Canadian Tire Jumpstart month and the Town of Essex is celebrating! Join us for a free Jumpstart event on Sunday, June 3 at the Essex Recreation Complex from 11:00am until 2:30pm.
The event will feature a free recreational swim from 1:00-2:30pm, sponsored by the Healthy Kids Community Challenge. Participants can also enjoy a bouncy castle and inflatables as well as a BBQ lunch and bake sale, with all proceeds going to Jumpstart.

Bump, set, spike! The Town of Essex is excited to announce the launch of a brand new beach volleyball league at beautiful Colchester Beach.
The league, scheduled on Monday nights from June 11 until August 27, will see teams of 4 players face off against each other in a fun and recreational setting.

At their Regular Meeting on Monday, May 7, Essex Town Council officially amended the Development Charges By-law to reduce commercial development charges by 100% in areas that fall outside of the existing Community Improvement Plan boundaries.
