Program Update for Parents and Guardians Coming Up

The Town of Essex Culture and Recreation division is currently planning for the potential reopening of modified day camps and creation of new virtual programs.

The Town will host two online webinars for parents and guardians to discuss proposed plans, including potential in-person day camps and additional paid virtual programming. The webinar will also cover proposed safety procedures and seek feedback from users. The free webinars will be hosted on Monday, June 22 and Wednesday, June 24.

“As we prepare for the next stage of reopening, this is an opportunity to discuss our plans and gather feedback from families in our community,” said Cynthia Cakebread, Manager, Recreation and Culture. “While we continue to follow the direction of public health officials, we want to make sure our users are kept up-to-date on what the future of our programming may entail.”
