Name a Snowplow Contest!

It’s time to name a snowplow! We're giving our creative residents a chance to put their mark on our snowplows. We’re looking for the most creative, fun, and clever names to assign to 3 of our hardworking snowplows this winter.

How to Participate

Submission period is now closed. 

Voting Period

Once the submission period ends, the Town of Essex will carefully review all the entries and select the top names based on creativity and originality. From December 4 to December 10, residents will have the opportunity to vote for their favourite snowplow names from the list of top selections.

Winning Snowplow Names

Once the voting period concludes, the 3 names with the most votes will be assigned to each snowplow. The winning names will be officially announced on December 11, 2023 on our website and through our social media channels.

Rules and Guidelines:

1. All submissions must be in good taste and appropriate for all audiences.
2. Participants must be a resident of the Town of Essex.
3. Multiple entries are allowed.
4. The Town of Essex reserves the right to make the final decision on snowplow name selections.
