Memorial Tree, Bench, and Picnic Tables

The Town of Essex is offering individuals the opportunity to honour a loved one or commemorate a special occasion with a memorial tree, bench, or picnic table. Picnic tables, which were previously not included in the program, are now available for purchase.

Trees, benches, and picnic tables are important assets in our community as they provide our green spaces with shade and offer a place to enjoy nature. The Memorial Recognition Program is intended to enhance our local park amenities while commemorating an individual, group or special occasion with a custom engraved plaque.

A donation will cover the cost of the purchase, installation, maintenance, and engraved plaque.

• Memorial Tree - $500 donation
• Memorial Bench - $1500 donation
• Memorial Picnic Table - $3000 donation
