120 Smoke Alarms Distributed to Local Residents

Thanks to a generous donation from the Rotary Club of Essex Ontario, Essex Fire and Rescue Services has distributed over 120 smoke alarms to local residents within the Town of Essex. The program allowed residents to request a smoke alarm by contacting Essex Fire and Rescue Services or by completing an online application form.

“Without the generous support of the Rotary Club of Essex, this initiative would not be possible.” Said Rick Arnel, Fire Chief. “We would like to extend our thanks to the Rotary Club for helping to keep our residents safe.”
