The Essex-Windsor Solid Waste Authority produces the Recycling, Garbage and Yard Waste Collection Calendar for the Town of Essex. The current calendar is available in print at Town Hall or online at ewswa.org.

Hydro is provided to your home by one of two companies: ELK Energy at 519-776-5291 or Hydro One at 1-800-434-1235. Several commercial retailers also sell electricity and natural gas by contract in our region.
Bell, Cogeco, and a number of other companies offer various communication services throughout the Town of Essex. Where you live will determine which services are available to you.
The Town's Animal Control By-law requires all dogs to be registered and licensed. Registering your dog demonstrates responsible pet ownership and helps with the identification and safe return of your pet if it is found running at large. Dog tags are obtained at Town Hall.
