Landfill

The Essex-Windsor Solid Waste Authority (EWSWA) operates the Essex-Windsor Regional Landfill at 7700 County Road 18 in the Town of Essex.

The landfill accepts residential, industrial and commercial garbage, as well as yard waste. Tipping fees may apply.

Regional Recycling Depot

The Essex-Windsor Solid Waste Authority operates a recycling depot at the Regional Landfill. The depot accepts appliances, cardboard, electronics, municipal hazardous and special waste, recyclables, scrap metal, tires, and yard waste. It does not accept garbage.
