Essex Fire and Rescue provides services and programs in our community to protect lives, property and the environment.

Firefighters respond to service calls for fires (structural and open air), fire alarm activations, carbon monoxide alarms, motor vehicle accidents, rescue, emergency medical intervention with Windsor/Essex EMS, and natural disasters.

The Essex Fire Department’s Administration division looks after all aspects of the management of the department and its direction.
