The Town of Essex is known for sports. We're home to the Essex 73's, the most successful Junior C hockey team in Ontario, and the original home of the championship-winning Essex Ravens Football Club. Our outdoor fields and sports facilities support a very active community. We're also the only municipality in Windsor-Essex to be High Five® accredited. This means that the Town's commitment to quality recreation standards ensures that children participating in our programs having positive experiences.
