SWIFT seeking input on Internet usage survey

Posted on Friday October 05, 2018

Southwestern Integrated Fibre Technology (SWIFT) is asking residents throughout the Town of Essex and Southwestern Ontario to complete a survey on their Internet usage.

This 15-minute survey will help SWIFT determine where to invest and inform their goal of building “broadband for everyone.”

Participation in this survey is completely voluntary and you may opt out of any question in the survey. All of your responses will be kept confidential. They will only be used for statistical purposes and will be reported only in aggregated form. Participants should have their Telecom Service Provider name and contract information at hand. For individuals who use more than one provider, please have the list of user sites and addresses available to input into the survey.

The survey is open to residents, farm owners, and business owners/operators.

SWIFT is a registered not-for-profit corporation which aims to develop an ultra-high speed fibre optic network to cover Southwestern Ontario. Once complete, the network will provide access to high-speed Internet to residents throughout the region.

Residents can complete the survey online at www.swiftnetwork.ca/survey
