Budgets and Financial Reports

The Town of Essex prepares an annual budget that is approved by Council. The Town's financial systems are audited every year.

Budget Reports

The Town starts preparing the budget for any given year six months before the start of the year. The budget goes through various review processes and is presented to Council for review and deliberation, with final approval usually during the first four months of the budget year.

Financial Reports

The financial systems of the Town are audited by an independent auditing firm every year. As a result of this process Audited Financial Statements, which report the financial position and the results of operations, are issued.
