Councillor Ron Rogers

Ron Rogers is serving his second term on Council, after successfully winning the Ward 3 By-Election in October of 2017. Prior to amalgamation, Ron served as Councillor in the former Township of Colchester South (now Ward 3 - Colchester Centre.)

Ron was born in Windsor and spent most of his childhood summers at his parent's cottage in Colchester. He became a full-time resident in 1978, the third generation in his family to own property in the community.

Ron graduated from W.D. Lowe High School and went on to work in the automotive stamping industry. Starting on the shop floor, he moved his way up to production manager and eventually corporate sales director. He represented a number of companies and travelled throughout North America, Germany, and Japan.

Ron retired after 30 years in the automotive sector but maintains a busy schedule. He enjoys working around the house. He stays active with classes at local gyms, cycling, and walking his two rescue dogs, Murphy and Marco. He also drives a school bus part-time for Richmond Coach Bus Line in Harrow.

He lives on Lake Erie in Colchester with his wife, Carolyn, and son, Magnus.
